DESCRIPTION:Offering a positive\, safe and friendly space with a listening 
 ear for those:\n\nwho themselves have Dementia (accompanied by a friend/ca
 rer)\nwho are living with someone with Dementia\nwho have a loved one who 
 has Dementia\nwho have had a loved one who has died who had Dementia.\n\nJ
 oining us this month are Music for Connection\, a Brighton &amp\; Hove-bas
 ed social enterprise that has been running community music projects in the
  city and beyond since 2013. They offer participatory music as a tool for 
 connection in a variety of community-based settings.\nThey are working as 
 part of the Ageing Well Partnership and through this funding are offering 
 free dementia-friendly interactive music sessions to groups supporting peo
 ple who are experiencing memory challenges. This is an interactive and res
 ponsive music session which responds to the needs and interests of the gro
 up. They bring a range of instruments and provide a safe musical space for
  connection. Their facilitators have extensive experience making music wit
 h people experiencing memory challenges in a range of community\, health a
 nd social care settings.
